Maxim Kelly once again demonstrates that making AI work in the creative space requires real intelligence. Kelly's video for Purple Disco Machine is a love letter to Pacha, the legendary Ibiza nightclub, by revisiting its humble beginnings as a holiday hangout for an eclectic variety of likeminded souls, back in the 1970s.His raw materials for the video for Disco Cherry was original archive footage, mostly photographs, of those days, supplied by the good folks at Pacha. In a similar way to Andrew Dominik's video last year for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' Tupelo, Kelly brings these images to life with a sensitive eye. It's illuminating - and also witty. Like in his recent AI-gen videos for Archive, he creates a narrative that is full of mordant, absurd humour.And if you're not looking for that stuff, you can also dig the vintage vibe, the sense of fun in the original Pacha bar, full of warm textures, groovy dancing and somewhat startling portraiture. And what's more, it's a suitably funky visual for the feelgood track.

Nadia Kadek and friends spend a breezy day in the countryside in Georgie Cowan-Turner's promo for Lemonade. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, Nadia's performance is captured in beautiful soft light, intercut with carefree, fly-on-the-wall style shots. "I wanted to create the sense of an idyllic, laid back summer's day with your friends, when you stay out until the sun goes in," Cowan-Turner explains. "We looked at references from European films in particular - Call Me By Your Name, Le Bonheur - the aim was to create an effortless, vintage quality to the video to allow the performance to take centre stage and feel as natural as possible."At the same time, we wanted to tinge this with sadness and a sense of loneliness within this beauty, of maybe not fitting in even when you are with your friends and of not knowing who you are without them around."

Abdi Ibrahim directs a stylish promo for Sasha Keable’s latest single, featuring 6lack.The video for Take Your Time is a scorching, sweaty affair, taking place in an apartment where Keable tries to cool off. Focusing on portraiture and atmosphere, the video features a cast of supporting characters, who all try and get on with their activites - some quite suspicious - in spite of the fearsome heat. An unexpected yet decidedly fitting visual accompaniment to the track, featuring plenty of striking imagery.
