Al Worden, Command Module Pilot of Apollo 15.

Tom Furse directs a thought-provoking promo for Hot Chip frontman Alexis Taylor's latest solo project. The video for I Can Feel Your Love has a distinctive animated aesthetic, AI-led with handmade textures, and follows the artist and his love for the extinct Tasmanian Tiger. Opening with three slides of text giving background to the animal and its tragic demise, the video launches into an epic journey of freedom and surrender, captured in a road-trip style structure. “The Thylacine (or Tasmanian Tiger) is an animal I have always loved and been fascinated by," Alexis Taylor explains. "The cruel hunting of the species by humans to the point of extinction is one of the saddest details surrounding the animal."I wanted to talk about a connection that is beyond words and language. So I suggested to Tom that the connection could be shown between this animal, that we in fact cannot directly communicate with, and a human. It’s a love story about connection and something sublime, or beyond ourselves.”

Imagine Dragons released Children of the Sky in collaboration with Starfield composer Inon Zur and Bethesda Game Studios to celebrate the launch of the game.Packed full of CGI, game-graphic inspired shots, the video follows a young boy as he dreams about his future and the possibility of leaving earth to find a new home, embarking on an epic journey through the galaxy at warp speed.“As soon as I listened to the track, I was transported to a new world full of emotion, hope and fantasy - instantly leading me to a visual idea I wanted to explore," says FILFURY."With the song being used for Starfield, my desire was to lean into the sci-fi space visual language, but stay very true to the tone and identity of Imagine Dragons. A perfect unison of worlds, connected by the lyrics of the song and the uplifting euphoric dream-like hope the song conveys.”Imbued with an epic, stirring energy, the video is packed full of stunning imagery and plenty of emotional moments, inviting viewers along on the adventure of a lifetime.

Stefano Ottaviano directs a marvellously cinematic road trip promo for DJ Shadow, filmed in Uzbekistan. The video for Ozone Scraper - the first release from Shadow's latest album - is the story of a man who commits to leaving his home village and explore the land beyond his valley - on the cherished motorcycle, passed down from his father. The bike is old and temperamental, making the journey anything but straightforward, but as he traverses unfamiliar terrain, it all becomes worth it in the end. Ultimately the traveller reaches a state of nirvana, represented by an unforeseen change to another medium. Up to that point, every frame composed by Ottaviano and shot by DoP Andres Arochi is stunning. Boasting breathtaking landscapes and a quietly inspirational character arc, this is a wonderful video which feels like a true adventure - in the spirit of DJ Shadow's new musical direction.

Charlie Sarsfield directs an arresting and atmospheric promo for Dylan's latest release - filmed on location in Nashville. Shot between the back streets and a late night dive bar, the visual sketches the relationship between Dylan and her boyfriend, with fleeting moments of fun and happiness, before her hopes for their future crumble.Uses dynamic transitions and edit effects to switch from narrative vignettes to heartfelt performances by Dylan and by guest artist Dan from Bastille. With excellent cinematography, grade and edit by Kaz Ove, its demonstrates Sarsfield's ever-greater mastery of the pop video medium: encapsulating the rollercoaster ride of a passionate love affair, while acting as a perfect vehicle to incorporate the artists' collaborative efforts.

NEMY's life journey is visualised in an energetic, stylish fashion in the promo for Elegant. Directed by Noiziac and NEMY himself, the video opens in Paris, moving through iconic landmarks in France and finally the UK, showing the story of his upbringing to where he is today. A breathless edit and dynamic camerawork keep the visual feeling fresh throughout, and the use of real life friends and family add a sentimental vibe to the concept. "Upon prep for this video NEMY made it clear that the video needed to reflect the story of his upbringing, starting in the Congo," Noiziac explains. "We opted to shoot in the African markets in Paris as we felt it offered the perfect cultural mix of his upbringing in the Congo and France, and ended in London to get the final shots of the project, backdropped by the O2 arena and Canary Wharf skyline, where he now resides in Greenwich."

As Xadi grapples with a new musical direction, he spawns a violent doppelganger, in Zach Joseph's minacious promo for The Ultimate Taurus. Opening with a shot of the artist looking at a mysterious bag in the boot of his car, breathless and concerned - never a good sign - viewers are then taken on a rip-roaring journey through stylistic performance vignettes. With themes of death, rebirth and finding oneself, it's a bloody, effervescent visual with a hauntingly abstract narrative.

Teeeezy C enters into rock territory in triumphant fashion, with an absorbing road movie-style video for Nothing But Thieves.In the video for Overcome, a couple leave their enigmatic surroundings in search of the perfect life, on the road with the band - and Teeezy puts a modern twist on classic rock videos from the golden age of MTV. Taking us on a journey of human connection as they head towards the DCC - an obscure entity that represents one’s deepest desires - the video is tied together by a captivating performance from the band, and an overarching sense of mystery.With a naturalistic colour palette and brilliant central performances from the main characters, it's an evocative, powerful journey and a brilliant complement to the group's comeback track.

We see the eponymous Dylan, teaching class whilst Prima Queen vocalists - that's Louise Macphail and Kristin McFadden - watch from afar.Joining him on his journey back home as he breaks out into choreography at every corner, it's a breezy, easy watch, and a delightful introduction to the group.
