Adrian Villagomez directs a breathtaking promo for innovative producer Apashe, featuring Raga.The latest genre-bending anthem from the Belgian musician features a cinematic concept that spans stunning desert locations and urban landscapes in India. With a magical blend of choreography, stirring performances and incredibly slick cinematography, Villagomez has created an utterly captivating video from start to finish, stylistically merging different cultural iconography to create something fresh and unmissable. Another standout work from the exciting Montreal-based director.

Santiago Posada directs a stunning video for Chiléan artist Miraclis - aka Max Clementi - drawing upon traditions in rural Columbia spanning nearly 300 years. The music video for Scienter - from the just-released debut album Origin Of Truth - is inspired by the horsemen who have been gathering since 1735, dressed up in self-made costumes, to celebrate an equestrian spectacle, which represents the battles between indigenous people, Africans, Moors and Spaniards in the 18th century.Anchored by a stirring performance from first-time actor Pacho Toro, the video is a breathtaking amalgamation of concept, culture and cinematography, masterfully executed by director Santiago Posada, the DoP Omar Gutierrez, and team. The filmmakers visited the rural community over a period of three years in order to get access and shape the story based on the myths and tales from the elders - a huge commitment which has paid off in the project's authenticity.

Tom Haines embraces the echoes left behind by nightlife culture, in his passionate promo for Camelphat's Easier. Haines reimagines the past barren year of club culture, the ghostly reminders of what life was like just over ten months ago, with the help of regular collaborator, DoP Steve Annis. They pull together a more optimistic perspective as we weave in and out of outlandish, no-holds-barred dance spectacles. It begins with the lead character engaging with the technology that makes the clubbing experience so special and otherworldly, and soon there is a vibrant display of lasers, haze and remote heads, encapsulating the hypnotic, hyperactive energy of the dancefloor - just like the good old days.

Charlie Robins explores dance culture in his brilliant video for Rudimental. Opening with a preamble where several characters discuss their love for dance and movement, the video documents the ritual of a night out, albeit under current social distancing guidelines.The group of friends inhabit an almost empty nightclub space, but none of them are bothered in the least. They dance, pose, pop bottles of champagne and relish in the glow of strobes and laser lights. Reminding us of drunken nights on the dancefloor with our nearest and dearest, the hyper-stylised aesthetic and contrasting neon colours (care of DoP Pieter Snyman) feel incredibly contemporary and reflective of an optimistic future post-Covid.
