Zak Pinchin directs a rousing promo for anonymous music project PRESIDENT. The video for Rage focuses on two dancers in a breathtaking church location, performing as the artist looms over them, watching from a balcony. As the camera twists, zooms and follows the dancers' performance, matching the fierce intensity of the track, it builds to a choreographed 'fight to the death' leaving one woman as the victor - and the artist's chosen one. This is excellent work which adds to the mystery surrounding the PRESIDENT project, whilst keeping things tight in concept and cinematic in execution.ZAK PINCHIN:"As the concept bases itself around the fight of human morality, we came at this video wanting to cross the beauty with the haunted - a ying-yang of aura. A dance seemed fitting in a location of grandeur, only to feel an ominous presence of our President enter the room to ‘choose’."I love the concept of morality in a physical expression, being gazed upon by our President, a ‘close to’ human being, onlooking a display of real human nature. We leave the ending open to wonder where the President sees himself fitting in this world."
