Spencer Dennis directs a charming performance promo for California singer-songwriter Will Logsdon, filmed at and around Will’s home in the desert town of Inyokern, California at the height of wildflower season, after the area’s wettest winter in decades.Featuring delightful animal performances - from the artist's rescue tortoise Joey and a St. Bernard named Boss - and a sense of whimsical, nostalgic charm, the video for Make My Own World captures the laid-back vibes of the track in a playful way.Visually, the video makes use of a hand-painted backdrop and the stunning desert location to give the concept a sense of time and place, and a textural, vintage feel. “Make My Own World was an absolute pleasure filming with friends in beautiful Inyokern, CA at the height of flower season," says Dennis. "My wife, Ana, and I collaborated in coming up with the idea of a desert sunset backdrop revealing to be in front of an actual desert sunset. The idea of creating a world within a world 'when I start to sing' was what inspired us to do something simple but slightly provocative."It was a humbling experience doing everything with a two-person crew while battling crazy dusty wind gusts and the mighty sun; wrangling Joey and Boss was a feat, too. I feel like we truly harnessed desert power while making this video."

Shot around Lake Garda in Italy, the video has a nostalgic, bittersweet vibe, that matches the yearning qualities of the track. "As the song projects a theme of a nostalgic summer love that never was, I wanted the music video filmed somewhere that could reflect the same," Joonas says. "I've always been very inspired by Italy and decided to reach out to Italian directors. This led to the film being shot in Italy around Lake Garda by a full local team of creatives. It was a beautiful early summer day and through fun structured improvisation we ended on a result we all were very proud of."The music video tells a story about feeling alone even when you are together and that the many moments of happiness will eventually one day end. It's bittersweet, just like the song."
