Mackai Sharp directs a vibrant promo for Indian-American jazz-funk artist Telemakus.

The video for Hands Rejoice! features a blend of bold art direction, inspired performance and an overall vibe of experimentation, marking the second time the director and artist have collaborated.

“His sound, his practice, his brain; it’s just so innovative - and for me, a huge privilege to be apart of the moment that it first crosses over into video," says Sharp. “The production was a real family affair, Ari (Sparklmami) had sketched out a vision that became our blueprint for Hands Rejoice! paying homage to the story of his record. And we really did our thing!”
