Blondie 'Spectral Eyes' by Rob Roth
Promonews - 22nd Oct 2026
Legendary rock outfit Blondie are releasing a new album early next year, and the visualiser for Spectral Eyes offers the first look at the visual world created for the album by their longstanding creative collaborator Rob Roth, in partnership with Untold Studios.Â
Roth - who has worked with Blondie since their 1999 album No Exit - has conceived an ambitious, interconnected visual world for the new album High Noon that draws on Blondie's extraordinary history while introducing a contemporary cinematic aesthetic. Untold is helping realise this vision across multiple formats, from the album artwork and music visualisers to a forthcoming short film directed by Roth, featuring music from the record.
The newly released visualiser for Spectral Eyes -Â the album's lead single written by Johnny Marr -Â marks the first chapter of this wider visual campaign.
High Noon is Blondie's twelfth studio album and first collection of new material in nine years, set for release in February 2027. The album features contributions from Marr, Sex Pistols’ Glen Matlock and Zach Condon of Beirut, and marks the final recording of the band's late co-founding drummer Clem Burke.
