Acclaimed director and photographer Thibaut Grevet returns to music promos with a sumptuous and dreamlike visual for Belgian-Egyptian singer Tamino, exploring intriguing use of in-camera techniques and featuring the magnetic Vicky Krieps.
In the video for Raven, Grevet translates Tamino's world into a series of images suspended between dream and reality. Alongside the artist, the mesmerising presence of Krieps - the acclaimed actor from The Phantom Thread, Hold Me Tight, Corsage and more - deepens the film's emotional and cinematic resonance.
Richly textured cinematography, instinctive framing and understated direction create a contemplative work in which light, movement and the human body respond to the intensity of the music. The film favours atmosphere over narrative, crafting an immersive, evocative and timeless visual experience.
