FILMAWI makes a welcome return to music videos, bringing his distinctive and poetic style for rising artist and internet phenomenon Kilo Kent, mythologising the artist's North London neighbourhood of Tottenham.

The video for 40's - a raw and honest UK rap record reflecting on Kilo's upbringing, experiences, and the realities that shaped his journey - sees Filmawi Efrem characteristically bring a dreamlike sensibility to the urban landscape. 

“40’s is a reflection on Kilo’s upbringing and the experiences that shaped him," says the director. "Rather than telling a literal story, I wanted to build a world around those ideas. A world rooted in Tottenham, but elevated through symbolism, atmosphere and a sense of modern Tottenham mythology.”
