Andy Madjitey directs a tender and beautifully crafted promo for Afrobeats artist Arathejay. 

The video for Talisman explores protection, faith and inner strength through a mix of performance and docu-style storytelling.

Shot in Ghana, the film draws from African spirituality, Christian iconography, and ancestral presence as layered forces that shape identity. Rather than explain belief, the film lets it be felt, grounding the artist in quiet confidence and unseen protection. 

Madjitey fills the piece with a range of memorable imagery including inspired portraiture, choreography and breathtaking landscapes accompanying the performances by Arathejay and featured artist Stonebwoy. 

With some of the the best cinematography of the year so far - by Madjitey himself - and an edit that isn't afraid to linger and absorb, it's clearly a labour of love. A beautiful and heartfelt project.
