Sophie Muller reunites with Sophie Ellis-Bextor to do what she does best - and better than anyone else.

For the video for Stay On Me, Ellis-Bextor is a glamourous presence in a coastal village hideaway, poring over a screenplay and occasionally transformed into a goth-influenced alter-ego - perhaps the character she is destined to play this as yet unmade film.

It's the slightest of dramatic structures to establish the true purpose, a showcase for Sophie Ellis-Bextor in which her main co-star is unquestionably the spectacular scenery of the Kerry coast in South-West Ireland. Like many of Muller's recent videos for Kylie Minogue its shot by Robbie Ryan, and the effect is similar in brilliantly serving the artist, allowing a true version of themselves, with a touch of charm and humour. 

In fact, this one may actually have more going for it, which we'll have to put down to shooting in Kerry. It's a spectacularly beautiful place, and in that setting, Ellis-Bexter has rarely looked lovelier - as well as being able to try out a new Shakespeares Sister-like look. Which is appropriate, as the song is all about keeping eyes upon her.

Apparently this is the 19th video that the Sophies have made together - the one for Murder On The Dancefloor was one of the first - and it must stand as one of their very best collaborations.
