Femi Ladi crafts a late-night fever dream drenched in rhythm and heat in a pulsating and ultimately dramatic visual for Leigh-Anne.

The video for dancehall-influenced Been a Minute opens in a packed after-hours basement. The air is thick with heat, sweat and anticipation - a sea of bodies moves in perfect, chaotic sync at the best party on Carnival weekend.

Femi Ladi brings this energy to life on screen by using a variety of stylistic camera techniques and setups to fully immerse the viewer in the moment. The aesthetic is encapsulated in the gorgeous glow of Stefan Yap's cinematography and Vlad Barin's grade that captures the sense of unbridled passion and intense heat in the movement of Leigh-Anne and her friends. 

And then comes the curveball, when a visual dominated by dance adds an edge of drama and mystery: Leigh-Anne's focus is disturbed by a passing female in red, starting a party of her own in the next room - who turns out to be her own alter-ego.

It's an intriguing way to end the first release from this new chapter of Leigh-Anne's career. Can we expect a sequel?
