Mihai Feflea directs a super-vibrant promo for alt-rock project Tummyache. 

Inspired by the films of Ingmar Bergman and Terrence Malick, the surreal visual for Circling The Drain was shot on 16mm Kodak Vision3 250D and on the Éclair NPR 16mm cine camera, an important part of the cinéma vérité movement in France.

Featuring an abstract amalgam of beachside setups, the video follows two characters traversing a picturesque landscape. Their relationship and connection are kept vague, and any narrative elements serve more as connecting tissue between the eccentric visual moments. 

There is beauty in mystery, and this video by Mihai Feflea is a perfect example of that - and the aesthetic is gorgeously executed, with saturated colours and a nostalgic, unique feel throughout.
