Sian Adler directs a dazzling promo for Mali Hâf.

Shwsh! was produced by Pink Chillies, a new collective of freelances creatives from marginalised genders working in film & music in Wales.

The narrative sees Mali auditioning to be a 'woman' as the track urges its listeners to be themselves in the worlds of Reality TV and social media. 

Switching between a dance rehearsal room and an effervescent stage set, the concept visualises the push-pull nature of striving for your dreams, and how we have to navigate the bombardment of media advice, designed to create dissatisfaction in our lives. 

The video for Shwsh was shot on location in Blackwood Miners Institute and the Savoy Theatre, Tonyrefail.
