Didirri takes a spiritual journey in W.A.M. (Bill) Bleakley's touching promo for Begin Again.Â
We see the artist drive to a nondescript roadhouse in Victoria, Australia, and meet a burly man who takes him to a lake, immersing him in the water for a faux-Baptism of sorts.Â
The concept is open for interpretation, but explores themes of reinvention and leaving past behaviours behind.
The filmic aesthetic and unhurried pacing allows the narrative to unfold in an organic way, and the gentle, intimate performances from both characters elevates the emotional quality of the video.Â
