Bill Bleakley presents the final&nbsp;chapter in his trilogy&nbsp;of videos for Australian blues-rock band The Teskey Brothers, continuing&nbsp;the stories of characters he has introduced in the two previous videos.As with <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2023/03/03/teskey-brothers-oceans-emotion-wam-bleakley/80587" target="_blank">Oceans Of Emotion</a> and <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2023/04/04/teskey-brothers-take-my-heart-wam-bleakley/80992" target="_blank">Take My Heart</a>,&nbsp;the video for London Bridge cuts between separate storylines, returning to real people who have appeared before -&nbsp;the young rodeo rider, the young Asian couple - and introducing a new narrative strand, about the burgeoning love affair between two girls.&nbsp;And again, the band's performance in a bar location fits seamlessly into this world, of smalltown and rural life in the state of Victoria, Australia.&nbsp;Bleakley's main focus is to quietly expand upon their hopes and ambitions, and the real challenges - and bigotry - that&nbsp;they face. He has rounded off the trilogy, but left things open-ended. It's a thought-provoking, entirely engrossing body of work.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]

Bill Bleakley directs the second in a trilogy of interconnected clips for Australian blues band&nbsp;The Teskey Brothers, following some of the same characters from the first video, whilst introducing a few more - including a teenager with aspirations to be a rodeo rider.Take My Heart&nbsp;follows the <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2023/03/03/teskey-brothers-oceans-emotion-wam-bleakley/80587" target="_blank">Oceans Of Emotion video</a>&nbsp;in weaving between the stories of real-life couples - including rodeo legend Lance Anderson and his wife - creating a cinematic sensibility in the process, so it feels as much like drama as documentary.Bleakley adds young Noah Dingle to the narrative - who travels to meet and learn how to become a&nbsp;rodeo rider from Lance. And throughout we also have the parallel story of the Teskey Brothers themselves, travelling across country, performing in unlikely small town ventues - a scout hall and the middle of an ice hockey rink, surrounded by a cheering crowd&nbsp;.[imgtoken data:1]“It was a nice challenge to make a three part narrative clip – I’m not used to splitting narrative arcs over a few episodes," Bleakley explains.&nbsp;"Each of the videos had to work as a standalone clip, but also had to add weight to the series so it was tricky to get right.”“Lance is already Noah’s teacher, so we continued to use a documentary approach:&nbsp;try and capture real life rather than recreate it.”It's a real tapestry,&nbsp;and the director and his team - including DoP Adric Watson and editor Paul Rowe - have done a fantastic job with this. And one more to come. We wait in anticipation for&nbsp;the third and final chapter.&nbsp;

Bill Bleakley directs a charming promo for Melbourne-based blues-rock outfit The Teskey Brothers.&nbsp;Shot in Australia&nbsp;on 4-Perf 35mm film, the video for Oceans Of Emotion is made up of vignettes of real couples, each with their own narrative arc.&nbsp;From an ex-world champion bull rider shown overcoming a serious injury through to a love story between a delivery driver and restaurant worker, the video blends documentary narrative&nbsp;with slick cinematography, tied together with a dynamic performance at its centre.&nbsp;

A young woman leaves the big city to head to back home, in Bill Bleakley's tender promo for&nbsp;Ocean Alley.Backdropped by a stunning desert landscape, we see the main character sprinting towards camera, her business-casual attire ruffled and unkempt. This is a spur of the moment decision that is playing out like a true adventure.&nbsp;After hitchiking and connecting with a love interest along the way, the character finishes the journey alone, ending with a shot of her embracing her parents.[imgtoken data:1]It's a simple yet beautiful concept, with a real, classic road-trip vibe. The breathtaking locations act as another character completely, lending the visual a rough and ready edge that matches the protatgonist's spontaneous travels."The band gave me a lot of freedom in coming up with a concept for this one," says Bleakley.&nbsp;"We thought it would be cool to follow a protagonist leaving the city and heading home."To make it feel epic we wanted to cover as much ground as possible in the space of a few days. Hence we drove from Melbourne to Broken Hill and shot along the way."

Bill Bleakley follows up his previous video for DJ/producer Thomas Stell, aka&nbsp;Golden Features,&nbsp;with another mesmerising promo for the new single Vigil.&nbsp;The video&nbsp;follows a protagonist on a comedown from the night before, experiencing all manner of strange hallucinations - including floating through a pitch black void, eyes blinking in a deformed fashion and strangers under the sheet of his bed - before he detaches from reality completely.&nbsp;Culminating in a climax of surreal dance, the video playfully explores the journey to becoming human again after a heavy night, and does so in plenty of style.&nbsp;

'Bill' Bleakley follows up his excellent recent output, including videos for Confidence Man and Ocean Alley,&nbsp;with a riveting club-based drama&nbsp;for Sydney-based DJ/producer Golden Features.&nbsp;In the video for Touch, featuring Rromarin, a young man meets with friends in an industrial building,&nbsp;tagging the walls with graffiti and dancing within the bare structures of the rooms, before&nbsp;pulling back a plastic sheet to reveal a full-on illegal rave, and decide to dive right in.[imgtoken data:1]Drawn into the throbbing, strovbe-lit dancefloor, the boy soon finds himself attracted to a fellow dancer - and they come together to the hypnotic deep house of the track.Bleakely keeps a sense of fun with a bit of danger and drama throughout the piece, aided by outstanding cinematography by&nbsp;Jack Saltmiras. And it builds to an exciting&nbsp;climax.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Bill Bleakley directs a wonderfully eccentric promo for Australian band Ocean Alley.&nbsp;The video for Deepest Darkness depicts an apathetic protagonist, who suddenly starts to emit a dazzling light from her mouth. The narrative follows her to a warehouse party, where a group of characters with a similar glow are all partying, and accept her with open arms.&nbsp;The optimistic concept explores themes of acceptance and belonging, and of breaking through a feeling of being stuck, and perfectly visualises this journey with an atypical plot device.&nbsp;The clip stars Jillian Nguyen and was shot on the same lenses as the original Star Wars movie -&nbsp;Panavision C Series Anamorphics.

Didirri takes a spiritual journey in&nbsp;W.A.M. (Bill)&nbsp;Bleakley's touching promo for Begin Again.&nbsp;We see the artist drive to a nondescript roadhouse in Victoria, Australia, and meet a burly man who takes him to a lake, immersing him in the water for a faux-Baptism of sorts.&nbsp;The concept is open for interpretation, but explores themes of reinvention and leaving past behaviours behind.The filmic aesthetic and unhurried pacing allows the narrative to unfold in an organic way, and the gentle, intimate performances from both characters elevates the emotional quality of the video.&nbsp;
