Jamal Burger has written and directed an absorbing and poignant tale of brotherly love for BadBadNotGood's Love Proceeding.

A drama about a day in the life of two brothers on a summer's day in downtown Toronto, has a classic lo-fi indie look, with almost dreamlike black and white cinematography by assistant director and DoP Sylvain Chausée and cinematographer James Arthurs.

Love Proceeding is lush and nostalgic; Burger provides some grit with some broad-stroke storytelling and a timeless look. The two things complement each other wonderfully well.
