Happy-go-lucky character Ricardo is on an ultimate quest to become an air marshaller, in NAVS's wonderfully daft promo for James Vincent McMorrow.

Following his aspirational journey in a series of hilarious vignettes, we see Ricardo - played by Nicolas Arturo - try his utmost to achieve his dream by reading the Air Marshalling Manual, visiting the local model aeroplane store, and breaking onto airfields to direct plane traffic.

Skilfully shot and directed, NAVS brings out an indie film-style vibe across the short runtime, and perhaps sows the seeds for a longer form project down the line...
