Corinna Jane 'The Train' by Alexander Lamb
Alexander Lamb explores the interweaving lives of several characters on a vintage steam train, in his video for Corinna Jane.
Stripped-back in concept, the visual is a community affair, as a multitude of locals join forces to celebrate tradition, family and a sense of belonging. These values are all especially poignant, considering the lack of opportunities to socialise and make memories with our closest loved ones this year.
Cast with friends, family and over sixty people who enquired about the shoot locally, the video explores themes of loneliness and anxiety, emotions that can seem even more overwhelming when surrounded by many people, such as on a train.
Corinna said: “It’s a song that longs for connection and romance, if only to silence those insecurities and feel alive again. The song came to me one sleepless night a few years ago and since has captured the hearts of various fans who have seen me perform across the country.”
