Crooked Cynics direct an inspirational and cinematic video for Alok's Don't Cry For Me.
Roberto 'Dorrigo' by J. Logan Alexander
Roberto goes toe-to-toe with technology in J. Logan Alexander's enjoyably goofy video for the LA-based songwriter's Dorrigo.
In order to win the heart of his favourite girl, Roberto is prepared to get in the boxing ring with his biggest nemesis - "The Future", in the guise of a giant mobile phone, who is sucking up her and her friends' love and attention. But can our hero get the better of this all-powerful enemy?
The quirkiness of this charming concept is translated to screen through offbeat angles and moments of awkwardness in the edit, more akin to an indie film than a traditional music video. DoP Joaquim Pujol creates a busy composition in each scene, using all the space available to elevate the mood and edge the narrative forwards.
