Yousef follows up his brilliant video for Piero Pirupa's Braindead with another gem, this time for SG Lewis, and this time made in quarantine conditions. 

Self-shot by the artist in isolation, Yousef has thoroughly manipulated that performance footage of Chemicals through inventive use of After Effects. SG is endlessly replicated within the confines of a TV-shaped screen, in increasingly off the wall ways, as if they might well be chemically-induced.

Beyond that, there are the contributions by other animators and VFX artists who, in the fashion of Peter Gabriel's classic Sledgehammer video, provide seconds-long bursts of fresh animation styles, integrated into the main body of work. It's a marvellous way to transcend the limitations of these times.
