“I feel like our generation is lost, I feel like we don’t know where we’re heading.”
Willzee & Delush 'Dear Friend II' by Dave O Carroll
Willzee, self-proclaimed 'tra-buffer' - half traveller, half-settled person - depicts the raw and harsh life of young men in his home town of Limerick in his spoken-word piece Dear Friend II, while Dave O Carroll documents the real faces of that community on a single day.
As Willzee's prose explores the repeating patterns that create a cycle of pain, O Carroll puts faces to the words in an honest and humane fashion.
