Comedian Steve Whiteley introduces alter ego Wisebowm in Writing, directed by Mitch Kalisa and Steve himself.

Following the BBC Radio sitcom pilot Wisebowm: The Struggle Is Real, which was broadcast back in August, the first visual from the 'urban poet' is a tongue-in-cheek, lo-fi offering as he attempts to persuade viewers to to put down their smart devices and pick up their pen and paper - or even parchment.

We see a variety of mismatched vignettes in absurd locations, from green-screen forests to outer space. And whilst it won't be winning any MVAs anytime soon, it is charming and funny, and guaranteed to get at least one chuckle out of even the most serious of viewers.
