Ashnikko ft Yung Baby Tate 'Stupid' by Lucrecia Taormina
Ashnikko's Tik-Tok sensation Stupid is given the horror treatment by Lucrecia Taormina.
Following the spectacularly weird, UKMVA-winning video for Hi It's Me, the pair's second video collaboration is an homage to Kill Bill and similar revenge flicks. Walking down the street in a bright, anime-inspired ensemble, Ashnikko is dripping with blood whilst holding a hammer, fresh from a kill. She crosses a name off of a list, and heads on to the next one.
Dancing at the doorstep, the guy at the door has no choice but to watch in awe as Ashnikko drops into choreography whilst wielding the weapon, and he is blissfully aware of what comes next. This continues until Yung Baby Tate joins the scene, dressed in a similar outfit, and just as bloody. The two continue their vengeful killing spree and drive off into the night.
Another hit from Lucrecia Taormina, and DP Matthew Emvin Taylor's balance between glossy pop video and creepy horror film is perfectly executed. Definitely one to watch - just in time for Halloween.
