Ashnikko 'Hi It's Me' by Lucrecia Taormina - now signed to FRIEND
A gang of scarily-masked, boiler-suited intruders break into Ashnikko's house, in new FRIEND signing Lucrecia Taormina's sassy and full-bloodied video for Hi, It's Me.
Up in her bedroom, Ashnikko is all of a dither about a useless no-good boy. But the interlopers have a weird surprise for her - they reveal themselves to also be Ashnikko. Much bolshier alter-egos, in fact, and determined to snap out her nonsense.
Taormina brings out Ashnikko's considerable charisma in the video, and with the catchy Hi, It's Me, she's like a spiky, punkier Taylor Swift.
This is Taormina's third video produced through FRIEND in London, and an impressive way to announce her official addition to the FRIEND roster.
"We're very excited to announce Lucrecia Taormina is signing to FRIEND," says Luke Tierney, EP of Music. "Having created three videos together we've already created a strong partnership, something we're excited to take further."
