Natasha Bedingfield 'Kick It' by Jordan Rossi
Rob Ulitski - 1st Oct 2019
Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield teams up with Jordan Rossi for the stylish Kick It, from her first album in nine years, Roll With Me.
The video is formed of several studio-based setups, woven together to create a backdrop for Natasha as she sings about the complexity of relationships we have with ourselves and with others. Stripped back and fun, Bedingfield is completely in her element. She is entirely captivating whether she is in front of a wall or a full set, and it's an inspired choice from Rossi to keep things simple and sharp.
The end result speaks for itself. Gorgeous cinematography from Tony C. Miller, evocative styling and several stunning glam looks mean that Kick It marks an excellent way to take back the limelight as a performer - having spent the last few years writing for other artists. She is just as spectacular as ever.
Jordan Rossi:
“Natasha was an absolute dream to collaborate with. She was so open and trusting. In fact her entire team were. It’s really important when crafting any piece of work that there is trust on both sides and that you can discuss things openly and honestly. After our first phone call it was really clear with what we were trying to achieve. We wanted to create a fun, energetic performance video that also had this nostalgic emotional side.”
