A sick mother and her son escape from hospital to have a special day together, in Charlotte Regan's emotional video for Mumford & Sons' Beloved.

Filmed in and around Port Talbot in South Wales, photographed by Jack Wilkinson, the film features Deirdre Mullins as the mum, Lucy, and first time actor James Sykes as her son Conor.

Regan's story is an interpretation of the sense of loss at the heart of the song Beloved. Commenting on the video, the band say: "The song has very different meanings for everyone… but somehow Charlotte has managed to capture the same wild spirit that we felt when creating it."
