Sam Fender 'That Sound' by Tim Mattia
Tim Mattia revisits his rock performance roots with this video for Sam Fender that packs a real punch.
The performance of Fender and his band, captured in Mattia's trademark noirish black and white, and bursts of strobe light, is shot through with a succession of individuals who square up to the singer, all exhibiting serious levels of old-fashioned British aggression.
As That Sound comes to its peak, a brilliantly fierce, kinetic edit by Vid Price goes into overdrive. it's a searingly powerful climax, where the individuals become a blur, and their aggression overpowered by the music.
