Wilkinson ft Hayla 'I Need' by Charlotte Regan
Charlotte Regan, recently named Shots Awards’ Young Director of the Year, shows exactly why she is so highly regarded in her new video for Wilkinson.
It stars Thomas Turgoose of This Is England fame trying to make a connection with a girl who lives in his building. Negotiating numerous fellow residents along the way, and demonstrating his general good-egg qualities, Regan tells a story of a slowly budding romance from a single perspective. Everything takes place in the lift.
What stands out is how Regan teases out the characters of her leads within a situation that, realistically enough, involves the rich tapestry of people who live in the building. And everyone else comes alive under her direction too. Impressive stuff.
