KT Tunstall returns with her sixth album and a surprising makeover from her classic rock-folk persona of the previous five.

Swathed in dark robes, and captured in moody black and white, KT has been transformed into a veritable pop diva by Alexo Wandael. And not only that, she's dancing.

Arguably channeling some Kate Bush and Madonna from Frozen (the Chris Cunningham video, that is), KT is engaged in a sensual, downright sexy pas de deux with chiselled, six-packed partner Alex Thomas.

It's a very stylish as well as audacious new image direction, orchestrated by Wandael, an architect-turned-art-and-fashion photographer, who is now turning his hand to music video direction. On this showing, a future in the field is there for the taking.
