From Stormzy's incorrigible charisma, leading 350 young fans in a singalong, to the portraits of British households in their diversity, to the incredibly moving shared moment of silence, in memory of victims of tragedy, Nez Khammal has created a remarkable visual poem to life in London in 2017.

Blurring the boundaries between music video and documentary, and deconstructing the music video process along the way, Nez's video for Blinded By Your Grace Pt 2 is a celebration of community, and the wealth of culture and beliefs that make up a city like London.

It's an emotional experience, for reasons that are, in very British fashion, never explicitly referred to, but will be obvious to nearly everybody. Nearly six months after the Grenfell Tower tragedy, Nez and Stormzy have made something that looks back and forward, and allows the viewer to experience a little joy, sadness - and hope. A late contender for one of the videos of the year.
