Stereophonics 'All In One Night' by Joe Connor
Joe Connor's video for Stereophonics attempts something usually avoided at all costs in videos - the literal retelling of the song's lyrics. But perhaps because the story is so important here - and so fantasically outlandish - Connor goes for it
As told in Kelly Jones' characteristically clipped lyrics for All In One Night, Connor fills in the spaces in a drama where a young man becomes wrapped up in events he could never have imagined, and that have life-changing effects. With a swirling camera connecting the narrative with the band's performance, the video draws the viewer in brilliantly until the last seconds. Wonderful stuff.
