Sioux City 'Until The Sun Goes' by Paloma Zapata
Paloma Zapata brings Sioux City lead singer Caterina Torres into an almost unfeasibly colourful and sun-drenched streets of La Escocesa in Barcelona for a vibrant performance with her dancer pals, captured all in near-one take.
PALOMA ZAPATA:
"Barcelona is a very cosmopolitan city but, believe it or not, there are still some places that (almost) nobody knows. Such as the area surrounding “La Escocesa”, a hub of urban artists who live in the old industrial district. There we imagined the staging of Caterina Torres (Sioux City vocalist) and the dancers, in an environment that fuses suburb culture and an imposibble colour fantasy.
"We wanted to transmit rhythm, vibrant energy; and we achieved it thanks to a honest and direct bet: a one sequence-shot. The secret? The incredible energy that Cat gave us and her chemistry with the dance crew, which was also spread behind the cameras."
