Nothing But Thieves and Thomas James pull all the stops out for Amsterdam, the first single from the Southend rockers' second album Broken Machine.

Shot in Kiev, Ukraine in a enormous hanger, director and band create a powerfully intense performance that just keeps building, and attracting a small army of locals, thrown back yet drawn in by the power of the music. Choreographed by Alexandra Green, these dancers close in around the band, and then they submit to them.

In many ways it's a simple idea, but nonetheless feels entirely fresh, and it's delivered with style and control on an appropriately epic scale. A real statement of intent by both Nothing But Thieves and Thomas James.
