Frightened Rabbit 'I Wish I Was Sober' by James Alexandrou
Director James Alexandrou exorcises some demons in Frightened Rabbit's newest video.
Draped in symbolism, the slow-burning video sees a woman battling against her vices in a very visual way. More and more figures in white shirts in turn support, carry, embrace and ultimately drag back the woman as she tries to overcome her drinking problem. All set on a rooftop carpark as the sun sets. It's emotional, subtly paced and managed to add an extra layer of melancholy to a song dealing with some heavy themes.
