Youthclub's mixed-format video for Kattison switches between past and present in a dizzying haze of summer parties.

Combining archive footage shot by Youthclub between 1998 and 2000 around Ibiza, Ayia Napa and Kavos on a Sony Hi8 camera, and new narrative footage shot on the same bit of kit, we follow the carnage that ensues in the summer party capitals of Western Europe. We follow two separate duos who party their way through paradise before eventually meeting - only for one duo to get the better of the other.

Combining the Hi8 footage with modern Arri Alexa footage gives the video a contemporary feel with an authentic throwback nature - lending its aesthetic to the clubland sounds of the track itself.
