Tom Chaplin - lead singer of Keane - has released his first single from upcoming debut solo album The Wave, paired with this poignant, scenic video directed by David East.

Its a solemn yet hopeful video which sees the singer going on a solitary walk through beautiful British countryside, reflecting upon the pained state of mind he has found himself in throughout his life.

DAVID EAST:

"This simple piece expresses the journey, both physical and emotional, that Tom has been on, from Keane to where he is now. The video is about him coming out of a dark place, shown by the journey he makes over the rugged landscapes of the peak district. The change in light over the day was a great metaphor for him making it through his battle with drug addiction."
