Salute 'Storm' by Raine Allen-Miller
Luke Bather - 5th Aug 2016
Raine Allen-Miller celebrates the gorgeous diversity of the UK at a time when it's needed most.
It's a simple concept executed with a great deal of visual punch - an African-British woman clad head to toe in Union Jack prints dances in an immaculately decorated living room whilst her family sits back and lets it unfold.
The costume, set, hair & make-up here are all incredible - right down to the Union Jack mani/pedi. And there's a powerful feeling of pride in both heritage and home and that's the sort of sentiment that is always welcome in a post-Brexit world.
"This video is a celebration of the incomparable mix of cultures and the unique blend of people that makes this country so incredible," says Allen-Miller. "What makes Great Britain so great."
