A Nice Idea Every Day's extend their devotion to the hands-on approach into digital, with their video for Peter Bjorn and John's What You Talking About?'. It's a studio-set, mulit-vignette riff on our phone-obsessed culture, where human faces are, for the most part, replaced by emoticons. And the Berlin-based duo  - that's Vivien Weyrauch and Fabian Röttger – shot the video on a variety of formats, and used different approaches to the post production too, as they explain here.

"'What You Talking About? is a collage video shot on different formats from 4K to 16mm to iPhone dealing with our own excitement and anxiety about our phones," say A Nice Idea Every Day. "The »peterbjornjohn liked your video« notification still gets us! The post–production was partly done our iPhones. This is where it’s going next."
