Charlotte Rutherford, included in our list of the top new directors of 2014, ended last year on a flourish of Perfume Genius. She followed up her video for Grid with another extravaganza of gorgeous lo-fi surrealism for PG's Fool, a video made for the Urban Outfitters Music Video Series.

Mike Hadreas aka Perfume Genius dons his gold rollerskates before embarking on logic-defying, archly humourous scenarios at a typical British cornershop and a local dance studio - also involving his dancers in fetching bird costumes, and rollerskating backing singers.

There's more about the shoot, and lots of on-set pics, on the Urban Outfitters blog
