The French directing duo J.A.C.K. travelled to the mountains of Vercors to make their impressively haunting video for Champs' St. Peters, about a man on the run, who cheats death, but not himself.

It starts with a deserter (played by Damien Bonnard) who gets lost in the forest, and dying with exhaustion - only to duplicate into a living body, to continue his journey. It turns out he has at least nine lives - but this way leads to madness...

It's a compelling story told in an epic landscape - and photographed by award-winning DoP Mathieu Plainfosse. It's also well suited to the haunting folk-rock of the Isle of Wight band of brothers Champs, whose debut album Down Like Gold is out on PIAS Recordings.
