A highly regarded DoP, and regular collaborator with CANADA, Marc Gomez (otherwise known as Marc Gomez del Moral) is now also directing, with his partner Camilla – they are now directing videos through Forever Pictures in London. And their first project, for Hypnolove’s Come To My Empire, takes them to a remote corner of Spain to create impressionistic portraits of local people – lovingly shot on film.

The video was shot over five days in Cadiz, in southwest Spain. A fascinating insight into a beautiful and rugged place, and its people. In complete contrast to the shiny electro-pop of Hypnolove – but it totally works.
