Mats Udd plays it straight - well, almost - in this glossy performance video for Swedish singer&nbsp;Sarah Klang.Just as the song Creamy Blue harks back to a golden age of country pop, Klang dons chiffon under studio lights and Udd pulls out the filters to recreate the look of a Kate Bush appearance on a&nbsp;light entertainment TV show in the '80s.With a song played for full-on sincerity - Klang's style is not dissimilar to her friends First Aid Kit, who she has supported on tour - Udd's aims for pastiche without overplaying the comedy.

Ultimately the setting serves the personalities and harmonies of the&nbsp;Söderberg sisters performing the plaintive Rebel Heart.

First Aid Kit fulfill a long-held fantasy&nbsp;in their latest video. They get to go to the prom.&nbsp;For Fireworks, Mats Udd follows up&nbsp;his Sliding Doors-inspired video for It&#39;s A Shame by dropping&nbsp;Klara and Johanna Söderberg&nbsp;at an Eighties-style high school prom, then adds a distinctly supernatural element.&nbsp;&nbsp;In a statement, the Swedish folk duo said they&#39;ve &quot;always loved the idea of American high school proms,&quot; though they were never able to experience one in real life. &quot;It was incredible to get to recreate one in our hometown of Stockholm,&quot; they added. &quot;Aesthetically it&#39;s such a different look from our previous video &ndash; it was fun to go full Eighties mode. We got to dress up our friends and our mom in full on retro looks. We had a blast shooting this video and found out &#39;Fireworks&#39; is a great song to slow dance to.&quot;

After making three videos, shooting live gigs and a documentary,&nbsp;it&#39;s been six years since Mats Udd last worked with First Aid Kit. Now he&#39;s marked their reunion with a real gem.In side-by-side, stereoscopic vision, the Söderberg sisters take the same trip, walk the same streets, meet the same busking band, go bowling. But their experiences are very different: Johanna has a magical time; Klara has a total stinker.&nbsp;All the time, they are both singing the track It&#39;s A Shame, in their&nbsp;unmistakeable harmonic style. W, where the Swedish folk-pop duo&#39;s video was premiered, reports that it was inspired by the movie&nbsp;Sliding Doors. And old video-heads may be drawn to remember the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EN9auBn6Jys">Gondry classic for Cibo Matto</a>. But the fact that we&#39;re not looking at two identical Gwyneth types arguably adds a bit of controversy here.&nbsp;Johanna is the &#39;pretty&#39; sister, and she gets to glide through snowflakes;&nbsp;Klara does not have the same conventionally attractive looks, and she gets drenched. Would it work just as well if it was the other way around?&nbsp;Perhaps it&#39;s an idea that you could only do if you know your subjects very well, as Mats Udd does.

Following on from their excellent collaboration for <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2016/09/01/firefox-ak-heart-mine-mats-udd" target="_blank">Heart Of Mine</a>, Mats Udd reunites with Swedish musician Andrea Kellerman - aka Firefox AK &ndash; for Wildfire.&nbsp;Hazily lo-fi&nbsp;footage of Kellerman on the move in New York City is intercut with a much sleeker, sexy, scarlet scene: the artist half-naked with her man. These are the memories that haunt her as she travels around, from Manhattan to Coney Island.&nbsp;&nbsp;&quot;The song is about that feeling, when all-consuming desire grabs you, and becomes destructive instead of beautiful,&quot; says&nbsp;Udd, who shot the NYC footage on a number of formats including Super 8mm (50D Och 500T), MiniDV and VHS.&nbsp;Their second collaboration is well-timed: it arrives a few weeks after their last collaboration won a prize at the 2017 Berlin Music Video Awards.

Mats Udd delivers an otherworldly dance film for Swedish electronic artist Vanbot. With gloomy lighting in an eerie-looking location and some striking mirror work and production design, the dance and performance video transforms into a strange ethereal, disorienting journey. It&#39;s mesmerising stuff.&quot;The video for was shot outside of Stockholm in an old military camp,&quot; explains Udd. &quot;I wanted to create a video that deals with space and time and focused on two people colliding.&quot;Vanbot, aka Ester Ideskog (who also produced the video),&nbsp;has commented that the song was written and recorded on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Being on that train &quot;moved her existence to a surreal, parallel place. [So] We wanted the video to move in a landscape untangled from time and in an indefinable space.&rdquo;&nbsp;
