It&#39;s always nice to dream, right? Sometimes you walk down a street and project all of your ambitions onto it. Thousands of people are probably doing it right now. Well, Philip Andelman pits dreams against reality in his video for Major Lazer.The kid in Andelman&#39;s clip for Know No Better dreams of fame, fortune, celebrity pals, the dream girl - the whole package, basically. We see his dream scenario cut against its miserable real-world parallel &ndash; which is tragic in places. But some ambitions are strong enough to be willed into existence.

Shipwrecked in a swampland of sorrowful&nbsp;regret and breakup sex, Nicki Minaj&nbsp;muses over what to do with a cheating manfriend as he tries his best&nbsp;to&nbsp;seduce&nbsp;her back into his life.Directors Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott made sure to deliver on Nicki&#39;s brand of voluptuous, in-your-face sexiness, but it is definitely somewhat tempered&nbsp;by the&nbsp;painful subject. The main focus instead is on&nbsp;Nicki&#39;s tortured yet decisive stance to not cave under the&nbsp;guy&#39;s penitent caresses.With some great production design by&nbsp;Brandon Mendez, the action takes&nbsp;place inside a fantastically atmospheric Amazonian swamp&nbsp;inside of Nicki&#39;s bedroom, alluding to the river of tears this guy will shed once&nbsp;she has finished with him.&nbsp;

Anyone who&#39;s been in that situation knows that&#39;s never exactly the easiest thing to do.The subtle colour contrasts between past and present really help to sell a bittersweet story, and Halsey&#39;s expression in the final shot is potentially heartbreaking.

Frequent collaborator Philip Andelman creates a suitably stylish and slick&nbsp;visual feast for Maxwell&#39;s 1990x, serenading and seducing a beautiful woman in his awesomely luxurious home, and a irrestistable flow of falsetto vocals.The nighttime setting combines rich colour and darkness with an enviable results - great work from DoP Starr Whitesides and colourist Beau Leon on this one. And there&#39;s a twist of VFX at the end too, when passion stirs so strongly that Maxwell and his lady&nbsp;transform into smoke.

Nicolas Randall &amp; Marc-Edouard Leon deliver a night-crawling, sleazy and heartbreakingly bleak video for Midnight to Monaco.&nbsp;Tackling the subject of male prostitution in 80s LA was never going to be pretty, and this video makes every scenario seem sinister and cold. Nobody genuinely smiles, there&#39;s no passion in anything seen here and the neon lights of cheap motels illuminate a world cast under Hollywood&#39;s shadow with a sickly glow - beautifully shot, it must be said, by DoP Starr Whitesides.&nbsp;It&#39;s not an easy watch, but it&#39;s certainly a rewarding one - with Midnight To Monaco&#39;s Ricky Ducati convincing&nbsp;in the lead role as the wannabe actor turned hustler.&nbsp;The bookending of the video&nbsp;with a VHS scene adds a sinister, voyeuristic element to a story where the young and the pretty try and thrive and quickly find themselves becoming obsolete.&nbsp;
