Mae Stephens is searching for a way out in Elliot Simpson's dazzling promo for If We Ever Broke Up.&nbsp;It's the viral alt-pop hit you've been hearing everywhere from TikTok to H&amp;M's dressing rooms, and it finally comes complete with a brilliant visual from Simpson and team.&nbsp;In the video, we see Mae devise fresh ways to escape from her overwhelming boyfriend - from poisoning his tea to letting him float away tied to a set of balloons - and from that spark of an idea, a hilarious, eccentric visual ensues.&nbsp;Offbeat and irreverent in its style, it's a perfect visual introduction to the artist (for those who have the track in their heads all day long, but may not know the person behind it yet) and it's a promise of more fun to come in future releases.

Hugh Mulhern directs a visual assault on the senses&nbsp;for Hak Baker's fierce anti-tech anthem Telephones 4 Eyes.&nbsp;Mulhern's video is a mesmerising clash of live action, animation, stock footage and VFX, smashed together in a frantic, hypnotic fashion - with a little help from AI.&nbsp;In the song, Baker is lamenting&nbsp;the state of the society we live in today, and the video matches the lyrical content of the aggrieved track, and the deluge of visual iconography matches the neverending stream of content we consume on a day-to-day basis.And in a real change from his excellent back catalogue of music videos, the most you see of Hak Baker is his mouth appearing from a tear in a man's stomach. You won't not&nbsp;be looking at men's torsos in the same way in the near future.&nbsp;Taking advantage of trends whilst completely flipping them on their heads, Mulhern has created something singular and visionary, which not only brilliantly reflects the times we are living in, but also a project that is impossible to tear you eyes away from.&nbsp;"If I told you I had an initial rationale for everything in the video and it was all carefully figured out, I’d be lying," admits Mulhern. "In truth it was one of those ideas that came together almost instantaneously. I think that’s to do with how clear Hak’s ideas are in the song. Tetsuo the Iron Man was a key image, and I also think the inside of [the song’s producer] Dan Carey’s studio played a part in inspiring our phone thief’s lab. HR Giger meets Abe’s Odyssey circa this weird stop motion cartoon called Mr Bumpy."We spent hours figuring out what found footage felt right and was obscure enough to feed the sensation of over stimulation. We intentionally wanted to steer away from doing anything that felt too political or pointed when the song was carrying that message so effectively."Things went off the deep end in the final few days of the video. We sent some stuff over to Dom (infinite.vibes) to create AI sequences stylistically informed by the stop motion animation and what he sent back far exceeded my expectations. It’s my favourite thing I’ve made to date and all I wanna do now is expand on the techniques we experimented with.”&nbsp;

Carly Cussen directs a glossy performance promo for Eyelar.&nbsp;In the video for Till You Hate Me, we see two opposing worlds collide, reflecting&nbsp;the dichotomy of emotions in the track.&nbsp;DoP Rick Joaquim creates a distinctive look for each of the worlds - the first is&nbsp;an ethereal, realistic environment, with soft lighting and a sense of calm. The other world is full of shadows, hard lighting and a gloomy, otherworldly colour palette.&nbsp;The opposing aesthetics perfectly encapsulate the themes of the concept, and pay homage to videos of the late 90's and early Noughties.&nbsp;Great work with a standout style and plenty of engaging imagery.&nbsp;

Dan French directs an emotional promo for Harlee's&nbsp;Reset, that explores love and loss in a series of evocative vignettes, featuring complex relationships and characters locked in limbo.&nbsp;Largely naturalistic&nbsp;in its approach, the video is peppered with dramatic, speed-ramped footage and experimental frame rates to change up the pace, and uses subtitles to provide context to the on-screen imagery.&nbsp;This is excellent work that tugs at the heartstrings but ends on a warm and hopeful note.&nbsp;

Charlie Sarsfield and FILFURY join forces to deliver this&nbsp;outstanding promo for Mabel and 24kGoldn.&nbsp;Shot across London and LA, the video for Overthinking captures Mabel at a houseparty&nbsp;struggling to connect with the atmosphere, her mind elsewhere and focused on internal struggles. Meanwhile, 24k is shown on the streets of LA at sundown in a vintage BMW, shot against the iconic skyline.&nbsp;"Overthinking is an ambitious project, one that I was super excited about," says Charlie Sarsfield. "When pitching on the video I really wanted to push Mabel out of her comfort zone, leaning into the meaning of the song which is about wild nights out, but the anxiety and vulnerability which can come with that. This meant that Mabel had to act and perform in a way we haven’t really seen her do.<blockquote>I really wanted to push Mabel out of her comfort zone.</blockquote>"We knew we wanted this performance to exist in a colourful world, surreal at points, taking inspiration from Euphoria and Skins - but also Mabel’s own personal experiences. Although the track expresses the more vulnerable side of Mabel, she really came out of her shell and killed the performance and made the whole shoot extremely enjoyable.[imgtoken data:1]"As soon as Mabel and I started talking, we clicked. The whole UNTOLD team over in LA smashed it and it was great for me knowing we were in safe hands out there."And special shout out to my DoP here in England Courtney Bennett, who really brought this world to life. He did a great job of leaning into the beauty elements but also made it gritty at the same time, which is something Mabel and I spoke a lot about throughout pre-production."

KC Locke brings Jamaican reggae star&nbsp;Koffee to Manchester for an amazing high-speed adrenalin&nbsp;rush.The video sees Koffee performing Pull Up, the lead-off single from her new album, while hanging from a high-performance car, speeding and drifting around a container base. But topping even those spectacular shots is the final sequence with Koffee sitting on the boot of a car as it speeds down a deserted stretch of motorway.KC Locke says the idea was designed to demonstrate the artist's love for fast cars, and every shot clearly shows that Koffee is doing her own stunts on this - captured with considerable skill by Locke and crew in the following camera vehicle.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]"Shooting this video in Manchester means a lot to me and the whole Swords &amp; Eagles team," says Locke. "Being big fans of Koffee it was an honour to welcome her from Jamaica and shoot in our home city of the north."It was great working with her, and for the record Koffee does her own stunts!" he confirms."Hats off to [producer] Lewis Nicholson&nbsp;who pulled this logistical challenge together. I knew my treatment was ambitious but Lewis managed shut a container base for us&nbsp;- and close down an entire motorway, with Koffee sat on the back of a drift car. Samuel Douek directs a warm and reflective promo for Mabel's Time After Time.&nbsp;You've probably heard Mabel's cover of the Cyndi Lauper classic on the McDonald's Christmas commercial this year, which depicts the story of a girl who outgrows&nbsp;her imaginary friend, before a trip to a McDonalds restaurant&nbsp;jogs her memory.&nbsp;The visual interpretation in the official music video is quite different, opting for a real-life, heartfelt concept which ponders love and loss,&nbsp;remembering those who are no longer with us, whilst looking forward to the future.&nbsp;The genuine emotion&nbsp;and intimate setup of the vignettes makes for a profound viewing experience, whilst Mabel's performance is spot-on as always.&nbsp;

Exploring issues such as sexuality and body image, Douek ends the concept with a message of hope and optimism.&nbsp;"This is not a story of suffering, but a coming-of-age tale about accepting who you are and finding love for yourself."&nbsp;Douek notes. "We may live in a progressive society, but we are all under constant pressure to fit in, especially in the age of social media."
