Charles Gall directs a heartwarming promo for 220 Kid.&nbsp;The video for Look Where We Are examines a love story through the ages, from the POV of an older man.&nbsp;As he settles in to get his eyes tested, we are instantly transported back in time to the early days of his relationship, and experience several snapshots of the couple's story at different points in their lives.&nbsp;Making good use of first-person camera, the video feels intimate and universal, celebrating the companionship of someone across a long period - and it's a great fit with&nbsp;the lyrics of the track.&nbsp;

Balan Evans directs a touching promo for Eloise's Drunk On A Flight.&nbsp;The video sees the artist sat at the end of a row of characters, waiting to board a flight in a mockup airport. Fragments of narrative from the lyrics are visualised in vignettes between other characters, yet Eloise exudes&nbsp;the emotion of the entire track, poignant and bittersweet, in her performance.&nbsp;Dynamic camerawork and clever moving pieces give the video a dreamlike flourish, and the art direction helps to both sell the location and give the entire concept a larger than life feel.[imgtoken data:1]"This one was a real feat but it felt like everyone was on the same page from day dot," director Balan Evans says."It’s actually the first big set build I’ve done which had its own new challenges, but we had an incredible team who all brought their own unique style to the film. It all just meshed together in the best possible way."

Luis Hindman directs a kaleidoscopic promo for Master Peace, the second of three videos he's directed for the South London musician.&nbsp;The frenetic, colour-soaked video for Veronica sees the artist take&nbsp;an interest in the song's namesake, spotting her at a club before seeing spiralling into a Y2K-inspired fever dream.&nbsp;The name Veronica starts to appear everywhere - on bottles, necklace pendants and even a pack of cigarettes - and before long, the whole room has warped into a series of fluid textures and uncanny forms.&nbsp;Shot on 16mm, the video has a gritty yet vibrant aesthetic, with a truly trippy vibe throughout. A fine follow-up to the equally vibrant and energetic video Hindman directed for <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGlct4ccNBQ" target="_blank">Country Life</a>.&nbsp;

Billy Lockett has zombies on the brain, in&nbsp;Kris R's cracking promo for Freaking Out.&nbsp;Paying homage to an iconic&nbsp;Shaun of the Dead&nbsp;scene, we see Lockett head out to the shops, stalked by a set of zombies who may or may not turn undead after encountering the artist.&nbsp;The image of a straight to camera performance backdropped by undead extras is hilarious and captivating, and Kris imbues the concept with enigmatic nuggets of information, which allow&nbsp;viewers to make up their own mind about a few key details.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]"Zombies were a key part of the brief I received for the track, but I wanted to dig a bit deeper into what including the 'walking dead' in this context would suggest about Billy himself," says Kris. "With that, I decided that the characters - who morph from ordinary passersby into white-eyed monsters - would personify his darkest inner thoughts, following him wherever he goes. As Billy finally turns to confront his demons they disappear, forcing us to ask the question: 'Were they ever really there, or was it all in his head?' "When thinking about structure, I immediately thought of that scene in Shaun of the Dead when Shaun walks to the shop, failing to realise the state of everyone that he passes. I think most people my age are familiar with that scene, so it was really fun to drop in Easter eggs throughout."&nbsp;

Chrissi's marvellous takedown of an unworthy lover in Lipo gets a charming and witty treatment by Denisha Anderson.Lipo is Chrissi’s ode to body positivity, self-love and the trials of getting to the point where you believe you deserve it. And although the subject is serious&nbsp;she treats it in a smooth, laidback fashion, addressing her ex with an 'this is your problem, not mine' attitude. That makes it all the more impactful.Anderson gets the mood exactly right, by putting Chrissi in a naturalistic situation with her friends, echoing some classic R&amp;B videos along the way. Chrissi and her pals&nbsp;are enjoying each other's company, and aided by the choreography by Claudia Lois, and some fun set-ups, this is playful as it spreads it's serious message.[imgtoken data:1]“When I initially heard the song, I was gassed at the bar 'Fxck your feelings'," says Anderson.&nbsp;"I really felt that, and knew I had to create something which was full of energy yet super empowering."Drawing inspiration from Destiny’s Child’s Bootylicious and Janet Jackson’s That’s The Way Love Goes, I wanted a similar home environment, where we see Chrissi and her friends vibing and enjoying each other’s company, dissecting F-Boys, and saying goodbye to that energy and hello to an evolved version of self."Utilising a variety of set-ups and working with a choreographer for the first time, I think we pulled it all together with smiles, energy and charisma to make a film I am really proud of.”&nbsp;

Before long, he is shaking hands with the eccentric presenter - played by veteran singer-songwriter John Otway - and enters into an increasingly unappealing set of tasks.Meanwhile, the rest of the band are among the audience, all too willing to subject Alex to demeaning and painful 'games' -&nbsp;including a real-life version of the board game Operation, and a ruck with the entire group dressed as animals, and finally ending up as an angel harrassed by a mob of devils.It's a vibe that perfectly suits the London-based indie-rock group, and Rice manages to amp up the charm even when getting stomped on by giant animal feet...&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Kris R directs a superb blend of performance and offbeat narrative for Liverpool-based band Courting.&nbsp;In the&nbsp;video for Tennis, the band's delivery of a betrayed sugar daddy's monologue, ending his relationship with his trophy wife, is gatecrashed by the less composed reality of this unattractive&nbsp;character. As the band perform the speech he wishes to make, he blunders around, trying to contact her, in an increasing state of helpless drunken fury.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]From the idiosyncratic performance of the band, to the slightly haunting presence of the main character, Kris R brings humour with a sense of discomfort and danger in almost every scene - which makes the visual even more absorbing and addictive.&nbsp;Also, I'm sure we won't be the first to point out the rather fitting link between the band name and the track name... Coincidence or fate? I guess we'll wait and see what they come up with next.&nbsp;

Kris R creates a delightfully oddball comedy for Baby Dave - Isaac Holman from Slaves's new solo project&nbsp;- getting to grips with the richly off-kilter and funny lyrical content of Clarence's Dead Dad.It all starts with Isaac sitting up in bed with an older lady, watching a Burt Reynolds movie from the '80s - before his helpfulness leads him to the attic, and a surprising encounter with the eponymous Clarence's Dead Dad and his friend, known as The Taxidermy Fox.&nbsp;A competitive game of cards ensues, followed by general tomfoolery - and more clips of Burt Reynolds. Expectations are subverted, and the fine performances by the four-person&nbsp;cast - Chris Repps, Rufus White and Kelly Lee as well as Holman&nbsp;- and cinematography&nbsp;by Jed Darlington-Roberts,&nbsp;taps into British cinematic tradition to create its own interesting blend of kitchen sink surrealism.<blockquote>It began as something sinister, but we realized that its their companionship that we found appealing.</blockquote>"Working with Isaac to bring this (semi) autobiographical tale to life has taken me to places I’ll never go again - but not because I&nbsp;wouldn’t want to," declares Kris, enigmatically. "The idea began as something sinister, but we soon realized that the companionship of this most unlikely trio that we all found appealing."Casting took a while to get right, but once we had decided on Chris (Clarence’s Dead Dad) and Rufus (The Taxidermy Fox), things started to fall into place. Their ability and willingness allowed us to create an intensity that could sustain the ridiculousness."
