Tommy Davis delivers a knockabout comedy of office politics for Sammy Virji &amp; Chris Lake's latest dance banger.In the video for 925, an edgy new employee played by Josh Dylan joins the office drones and immediately causes&nbsp;a stir, in a stylised scenario of old-school physical comedy that's well suited to the garage-influenced track.And after a couple of run-ins with the autocratic boss and rebuffed by the girl he fancies, Dylan lets loose to turn the office into a throbbing dancefloor - captured in some hyperactive camerawork by DoP Jack Maddison.&nbsp;&nbsp;"A dead-end desk job to full-blown office mayhem - all put together in less than a week," as Davis has explained on Instagram.&nbsp;"Massive thanks to @sammyvirji for having us on to create this naughty little number."&nbsp;

Within the setting of a palatial home, she taunts&nbsp;the men with the prospect of a grisly fate between performance setups.&nbsp;It's a fun visual, blending crime thrillers&nbsp;with music video aesthetics, and feels like a natural yet elevated accompaniment to the track.&nbsp;Great work by Sekou Abineri - who has also directed visualisers for the sultry Rubii.&nbsp;

LAUZZA reconnects with Niko B in this vibrant, Noughties-inspired promo.&nbsp;The video for&nbsp;I Like The Way You Look Talking At Me is packed full of lo-fi, green-screen trickery, building a world of coruscating backgrounds, layered cityscapes and liminal supermarket aisles.&nbsp;Built from the ground up, it's a feat of editing and effects, characteristically maximalist and garish to create a true-to-era aesthetic.&nbsp;Another hit from LAUZZA and Niko B, well worth a watch.&nbsp;

Paris-based Australian director Sinclair directs a white-syc performance video for electronic artist Mechatok's team-up with pop diva&nbsp;Isabella Lovestory.&nbsp;Inspired by the vibrant aesthetics of 2010s J-Pop, the sleek and dynamic video for She's A Director splits in two spaces with Isabella messing with the band through the power or telekinesis, adopting bottles full of coloured liquid and a panda&nbsp;plushy&nbsp;as her voodoo objects.&nbsp;The video blends nostalgic references - harking as far back to the dawn of the music video age - with contemporary style, showcasing Sinclair’s talent for bold visual storytelling, and following on from notable work this year for Adéla, Dorian Electra and Charlotte Plank.

Acclaimed American composer and musician Jon Batiste plays a mid-century&nbsp;conman duping farmers into believing their chickens can lay golden eggs in a fast-moving comedy by French directing duo&nbsp;Zite &amp; Léo.The video for Big Money - a track from Batiste's new blues-influenced album, out in August - focusses on a great Amercian tradition of being fleeced of your hard-earned cash by smooth-talking, dream-selling hucksters. Not that would ever happen these days, of course. In this case, Batiste and his buddy are hawking 'golden grain' to a credulous set of rural rubes, scooping their banknotes and getting out quick before their golden egg scam is exposed.As with their previous narrative videos for the likes of L'Imperitrice and others,&nbsp;Zite &amp; Léo fashion this story with rich period detail, a cinematic sensibility and lots of energetic joie de vivre, epitomised by the relish of Jon Batiste's charismatic conman turn.&nbsp;Speaking about the film - that was shot on location in Bulgaria -&nbsp;MindsEye MD Hughie Phillips says: “It was such an unbelievable joy to work with the incomparable Jon Batiste on Big Money. I first heard about the new Clipse record while I was overseas. I saw a clip on Instagram of Pharrell previewing it at the Louis Vuitton show and something about it clicked. I texted their MGMT (who I was connected with through my first music video in 2021) to let me write a treatment for Clipse. A week later, they wanted to make my idea come to life."We shot on 35mm film in Long Island at the same estate used for the hunting trip episode of Succession. The space had weight to it. That sense of history matched the energy of the record. I approached it with a focus on restraint. Letting the imagery breathe. Long, composed shots that feel more like portraits than moving images. Letting the lyrics sit in the silence. Letting shadows, reflections, and subtle movement do the work."To direct for Clipse meant everything. They shaped so much of the visual language of rap. This was about honoring that legacy without overcomplicating it. Letting the performances speak. Letting the world feel expensive and haunted at the same time.""Push said it best after watching the final cut: “Now this is evil. Keep me here.”

Noel Paul directs a characteristically immersive and offbeat promo for American rock band Geese.The video for Taxes takes place at an intimate gig, with the first minute or so shot on a mobile phone or lo-fi video camera.&nbsp;But then it's all turned on its head, ramping up into a mesmerising fever dream of sped-up dancing, fighting, melting faces - even a spot of cannibalism.It's ferocious, kind of disturbing, all the more intense for being at odds with the laidback pace of the track.&nbsp;A standout visual indeed.NOEL PAUL:"When Cameron sings 'nail me down',&nbsp;everything changes. The format morphs from strictly phone footage to a hodgepodge of textures and frame rates."The action becomes dislocated from documentary reality, instead taking the form of abstract isolated shots of expressions and gestures being repeated endlessly and maniacally by the people in the crowd. It's like we're inside a contemporary version of some medieval painting of the Damned, writhing and carousing in ecstasy and agony as they are herded towards Hell's gaping maw."Our crowd now becomes a vehicle for exploring a cavalcade of human expressions, gestures, and simple actions, boiled down to some kind of fetishized essence by way of filming them in hyperspeed with endlessly repeating manic motion. A simple action repeated over and over again and filmed in this style becomes mesmerizing and absurd and ritualistic."

Can she break free?It's another impressive addition to Tohé Commaret's body of work in a year that kicked off with a video with Oklou and Bladee and a show at Fondation Pernod Ricard then going on to being shortlisted at Berlinale and Cannes."I made Isabella Lovestory’s music video at a time in my life when I couldn’t stop watching Hitchcock’s films," she says. "They were a real inspiration for me - film noir, puzzle films, labyrinthine stories - all of that fed into the creation of this video.[imgtoken data:1]"I felt it matched her universe perfectly, which is all about vanity, reflection, duplicity, and self-observation. That’s why we used so many mirrors, split shots and reflections. The post-production took us a huge amount of time, and the set design beforehand was just as important."We shot it on 35mm to get closer to that classic cinema feel, but with a slightly futuristic twist: greenish and pinkish tones inspired by Matthew Barney’s films."

British-Punjabi musical disruptor&nbsp;Raf-Saperra's infectious pop track Step Out has inspired&nbsp;a suitably vibrant visual by directing duo Amir Hossain and Soren Harrison - aka Bedroom - and Avleen Kaur that playfully crosses cultural borders.Reflecting his contemporary take on South Asian music that&nbsp;blends western music styles with traditional Punjabi singing, it's&nbsp;an intoxicating mix of East and West in one colourful and cartoon-like&nbsp;package. Raf pops into the beauty salon to celebrate the girls (of all ages) as they prepare&nbsp;for a big night out.&nbsp;Then he becomes the model in a fashion magazine&nbsp;wearing some outlandish clothes, but charming his fellow model - the girl&nbsp;from the salon. He's also&nbsp;the guy in the magazine ad for Fatboy breakfast cereal, before becoming a boxer in the ring and appearing at his press conference, where his favourite girl turns up as his interviewer.&nbsp; &nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]For Amir Hossain, one half of the Bedroom project, this was an important opportunity to articulate the blurred lines between his South Asian and British heritage and what that means to his directorial work. It marks a&nbsp;bucket list moment for the director and stands out as one of the director's strongest videos to date."For me, Step Out was just as much about pushing representation as it was about pushing culture," he says. "Growing up South Asian, you’re often boxed in, caught between tradition and perception. There aren’t many people who look like me breaking into these new spaces or showcasing that we can play in the same field as everyone else."With this video, I wanted to show a more layered identity: bold, modern, unapologetically brown. Something that breaks away from the stereotypes and can stand shoulder to shoulder with the work that’s always inspired me."Soren Harrison adds: "There are boundaries to be pushed in South Asian culture right now and the response we have gotten with the video shows us how important it is to be broadening the cultural limits. We wanted the life and colour of the song to breathe into the visuals and let Raf’s playful performance carry us from one set to the next."
