Leethal Reppin's music video-related movie season launches on September 1st with 'Do The Right Thing'
Promonews - 28th Aug 2026
A new big screen series that pairs cult movies with a curated selection of music videos starts on Tuesday, September 1st at Finsbury Park Picturehouse, with Spike Lee's 1989 classic Do The Right Thing, introduced by Leethal Reppin founder and music video agent Lee Fairweather.
In a team-up between Leethal Reppin and Picturehouse, the season will program films whose cinematic influences have run through music videos and the format’s culture itself. Tickets to the first screening on September 1st in the Club Room at Finsbury Park Picturehouse comes with free popcorn and access to a private bar.
“It’s been great working with Picturehouse to find new ways to bring my passion for curating film and music videos together," says Fairweather. "I’m fortunate to work with some extremely talented directors and production companies, and the best part of what we do is connecting and translating our shared passion for cinema into the music projects and artists we work with. This season is designed to celebrate that.”
As Fairweather puts it, “Always do the right thing” ...and watch more music videos on a big
screen.
