Max Siedentopf's new music video for Keinemusik takes the German pun of the 'ear worm'&nbsp;to a whole new level.Director and artist Max Siedentopf is known for his conceptual, whimsical and refreshingly humorous work, and this video delivers the same idiosyncratic energy we have grown to love.&nbsp;Whilst&nbsp;the lyrics are about love, Siedentopf spins the concept in a completely different direction, and what seems to be taken out of context remains in the memory like a good catchy tune.[imgtoken data:1]We open on a bald, middle-aged man ready to feed his pet gecko, before a worm squirms its way into his ear. The man immediately loses his mind, smashing through the wall to the next apartment and flopping over the balcony, falling and bouncing off of a car.&nbsp;As he swivels and gyrates down the street - much like a worm would - passers by also start to lose their minds, as their bodies distort, crush and amalagamate.&nbsp; Shot in Berlin on 16mm, the scenes look weird but cinematic, and build to an absolutely oddball climax.&nbsp;

Mykki Blanco and Matt Lambert deliver an intensely powerful Shakespearean statement of intent - complete with sex, death and politics.&nbsp;Filmed in rural Germany - and photographed by Martin Ruhe (Control, Harry Brown) &ndash;&nbsp;this seven and a half minute mini-epic tells a years-spanning story of the decline of Europe into a &#39;Left Vs Right&#39; dystopia. Like all things, it isn&#39;t quite as easy as that - the world of this narrative is full of complex characters who can be seen to believe one thing whilst acting differently in private. It&#39;s a cinematic love story that&#39;s brimming with hate (or possibly a hate story with flashes of love).Its power is in Blanco&#39;s role within this film: one that challenges the wider world&#39;s views of race and sexuality, and posits very directly that in 2016 this shouldn&#39;t still be an issue.&quot;To me the film is nothing more than a story of love and hate,&quot; says Matt Lambert.&nbsp;&quot;It&#39;s a love story wrapped in the cyclical nature of conflict that humans seem to thrive on. It&#39;s a story of the moral relativity and polarizing forces of humanism and a simultaneous misanthropy that seems to live in all of us.&quot;Mykki Blanco has added: &quot;though The Mykki of &quot;High School Never Ends&rsquo; is a character, it is the closest to who I actually am and I felt a trust in Matt Lambert to portray this.&nbsp;I have been living in Europe off and on since 2012 when my career began because audiences seem to accept and acknowledge my creative work there on a larger scale&hellip; I&#39;m saying this because I&#39;ve seen Europe change, I have seen the surface of acceptance and the novelty of my brown skin become a frown in a public square, a belligerent rant in grocery store with a cashier telling me to &#39;go back to my own country&#39;&hellip;&quot;This story is about outsiders, forbidden love... when the Far Left &amp; the Far Right are willing to go to any extreme to prevail in their truth.&rdquo;

Matt Lambert&#39;s&nbsp;trilogy of films for German rock legend&nbsp;Westernhagen follows the progress of &#39;Alphatier&#39; (Alpha Dog) on his relentless&nbsp;rise, eventually&nbsp;overcoming the father who turned him into a beast.&nbsp;&nbsp;This&nbsp;Oedipal tale is an evolution of Lambert&#39;s past three years of making films following the youth of Berlin, and the first time he&#39;s had the chance to make a film that, due to the huge popularity of Westernhagen,&nbsp;could resonate with a mainstream German audience.&nbsp;As the East of the city is usually favored by younger Berlin-based filmmakers, Matt set this film in West Berlin in an attempt to tell a story that plays with the deep tensions that exists in a city where up to three generations have experienced very different worlds and social moralities.&nbsp;Shooting over three days in Schöneberg, Friedenau and Potsdam Lambert created an 18-minute long epic and also worked with his second unit to create seven other videos, that function as smaller stories parallel to the main narrative. He also combined seasoned actors with ones who&#39;ve never been on screen before, workshopping their roles with the actors&nbsp;over a span of a few weeks.&nbsp;
