Young T &amp; Bugsey channel their inner car salesmen in KLVDR's trippy promo for New Shape.&nbsp;Opening with a&nbsp;lo-fi throwback to 90's public access television, where amateur videographers ruled the waves, the visual soon switches into something decidely more pro and glossy - though with the same tongue-in-cheek attitude and aesthetic.Playing out as part hip-hop promo and part sketch show, the feelgood video is bang on-trend with kaleidoscopic AR shots and plenty of subtle VFX. But it's the hilarious performances that really make this promo shine.&nbsp;

Ben Lankester returns to music videos with an intense and riveting study of a fiercely committed boxer for Big Ideas.The band is the new project by&nbsp;Nathan Nicholson and Adam Harrison - of The Boxer Rebellion -&nbsp;and Lankester himself, on board as creative director and responsible for the visual identity of the project. And the video for the debut release The American Dream is a powerful statement of intent, featuring a charismatic performance by the boxer and actor Tom Benett.With superb cinematography by Carl Burke, Lankester focusses upon&nbsp;the boxer's punishing training regime, his manic drive to be the champion, and the devastating&nbsp;impact it has upon his mental wellbeing.&nbsp;The story is told more as a psychodrama, which puts character and metaphor ahead of typical narrative; and Lankester and Burke draw upon the rich heritage of boxing in film to show a man brought low by his commitment to the American Dream.&nbsp;The end result is a video that punches well above it's weight.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;

Captured by Lorenzo Levrini's excellent cinematography, this is all about&nbsp;the way the characters&nbsp;move - or remain still - and their haunted looks&nbsp;that draws in the viewer to interpret what they are seeing.Binding this all together are the words of Respons, who is also an impressive and positive presence among the an utterly credible landscape of despair. In other words, he is the embodiment of his own message in Pray For Change.&nbsp;&nbsp;

It's TTD's most commercial video yet, but he maintains&nbsp;his distinctively individual style with disorientating signature camera wizardry, together with&nbsp;moving furniture, offbeat imagery and saturated colour.Lensed by Hunter Daly, the video is frenetic and hyper-surreal, and flies through a series of conceptual setups to accompany&nbsp;the main performance scenes. The use of bright colour palettes and bold set builds from Jabez Bartlett help marry the concepts together, and performances from Ella and Kiana help ground an idea that could have been overwhelming for a director with less experience.It's a spicey visual feast for a great late-summer anthem. Now can we have some nice weather to go with it?
